Entry 15: SA 1 Review

I think all the tests papers that they tested us are fair for me although there are still some mistakes they have made.

The papers have been a fair test as most of the topics are learnt already through out the first semester.But there are a few question that i don't understand clearly.But as the teacher explains it helps me to understand more clearly.

I think i have done careless mistakes.

Yes they help me to do better in my studys.

I have a chinese tutor that comes to my house every saterday.It helps a bit.

I would try to work harder,hand up work on time etc.

Let us read more etc.

Entry 12: Improving the School

I like the schools it lab very much.It has air conditioning and you don't get hot easily.
I dislike the schools toilet. It should have more good smells.For eg:put some flowers in the toilet to freshen it up.
You can add more plants in the school or more flowers.
The school canteen can be improved.
The schools hall can be improved by adding an air con.
The students can help by not littering.

Entry 10: APSVoice

As i am in the cca guitar, we put our belongings in the guitar room then we go down to the canteen to eat our lunch.

The people in the other cca's should keep thier bags safe and should not leave them all over the school.

I think for my cca putting your bag in the guitar room is very safe.

Entry 8: Review of T1 Target-Setting Exercise

The purpose is to improve in your studys.

Yes i think this is useful to us as it helps us score better marks in our every subject for exam.

You improve at minimum 5 marks for our exams.

I listen will atentively in class hand up my homework on time and Study hard for our exams.

They help me by giving me assesment work,tiution homework and compos to help me achieve my targets.

I will motivate myself by Studying more to achieve my targets.

The teachers can help by letting us read more books.They can help by giving us more wore and more encouragement too.

Entry 7: Festivals in Singapore

I celebrate chinese new year.

I celebrate this festival as i am a chinese.

We put up decorations in our houses.

I know that some people celebrate depavali,chrismas,hari raya etc.Muslims,christians,hindus celebrate these festivals.It is a tradition for them to celebrate these festivals.

Entry 6: March Term Break

I think the school gets the pupils to read every morning to let us improve our language.

I love to read as i am addicted to it and when i read a good book i just can't put it down till i finish reading the entire book. I like reading as it helps us speak better english and mother  tounge.

The types of books i like to read is mainly non-fiction such as "horrible sience".

Reading helps us in our studies by understanding more difficult words and helps us talk better.

The school can encourage us to read more by giving us more time to finish reading books so that we won't have to rush when reading at school.

The book that i really like to read is called" Elizabeth the first and her conquests."The author is "Margaret simpson."I like to read this book.I like this book as the author writes the book very well.She describes things vividly that leads me to a completely different world. 

Entry 5: Activities Outside School

I am involved in high acheivers[Tuesday]and chinese tiution[Saturday].

I spend only two days doing these activities.

For my high acheivers[English 1 hour from 1.30-2.30][Science 1 hour fom 2.30-3.30] I spend 2 hours doing my high acheivers and as for my tiution[Chinese 1 and a half hours from 9.30-11.00]I spend in total 1 and a half hours.

I am involved in these activities as they can help me improve my studys.

Yes.I think that these activities are necessary for us as they can help us improve our studys.

I think these activities are helpful to my studies as they help me to manage my time better and that helps with my studies.

No i don't feel stressed when i participate in these activities as i only have two activites every week i have alot of free time for myself.

Yes i think students should have these kind of after school activities as they fill up the free time of the students.

Entry 3: My Visit to Thye Hua Kuan Hospital

On saterday our class went to Thye Hua Kuan hospital.At the hospital i saw many old folks. Some of the old folks were lying in their beds while others were going about in thier weelchairs being pushed around by the nurses.I also saw an old lady watching television.At the hospital i felt very sad for the residents as they could not spend time to celebrate chinese new year with their family.I learned that i should appreciate having time to spent time with my family celebrating chinese new year with them as the residents of the hospital were less fortunate then me.I can offer my service to the community by giving away my old toys clothes and many more.
